Salted Date Caramel Smoothie

Ingredients
  

Salted Date Caramel

  • 1 cup Medjool Dates pitted
  • 1 1/2 cups Boiling Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or more to taste

Salted Date Caramel Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup Frozen Cauliflower
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/4 cup + 1 Tablespoon Salted Date Caramel
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
  • 1/2 cup Almond Milk

Instructions
 

Salted Date Caramel

  • Place the Medjool Dates into a bowl
  • Pour the boiling water over the dates and allow to soak for at least 10 minutes
  • Strain the dates, reserving 1/2 cup of the water
  • Place the strained dates into a food processor with the 1/2 cup of water and salt
  • Pulse and blend until the date caramel is smooth
  • Spoon the Salted Date Caramel into a bowl and reserve in the refrigerator for up to a week

Salted Date Caramel Smoothie

  • Place all ingredients into a high speed blender
  • Blend until thoroughly mixed and completely smooth
  • Add more almond milk if necessary
  • Pour into a cup
  • Serve and enjoy!
